A rebrand with a warm heart
Care, autonomy, sense of duty and performance. These are the key values chosen from within the organisation by both employees and residents. ‘De Okkernoot’ is a charity based in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen which offers personal, client-led residential housing for people with a learning disability. The charity allows residents to live as independently as possible and allows them to work on location. Back in their living environment, they are able to prepare dinner, do gardening and perform household tasks.
The newly chosen values formed the basis of the new brandmark, combined with bright and friendly colours to give the branding a positive outlook. Accessibility is an important consideration for the residents. By combining large bold typography, high-contrast colours and clear signage it was made accessible to all.
